Taste of Cape Town

It's less than a week to go before my favourite food festival starts... Taste of Cape Town.
To be fair, it's not only food, but amazing local wines and other related products too...

This year, visitors to the festival can expect:

Over 100 boutique exhibitors, including artisan producers, premium drink brands and award-winning wineries, the Pick n Pay Chef’s Theatre – which features live demonstrations by top chefs – plus a Pick n Pay Wine and CanapĂ© Experience and loads more.
Top Cape restaurants partaking in this year's event include: The Boathouse, The Pot Luck Club, Makaron restaurant, Il Leone and La Colombe, among others. Taste of Cape provides visitors with the opportunity to try sample dishes from these exquisite restaurants, so it serves as not only an introduction to a restaurant that you may not have visited before, but also a way to get to know the chefs and their food better. So get those tickets and I'll be seeing you there!

Here are the details:

Dates: 11 – 14 April
Venue: Green Point Cricket Club
Tickets: Standard R80 tickets include entrance to the festival and tasting glass. Premium R180 Tickets include entrance to the festival, a tasting glass and R100 Festival Crowns. Tickets are available from: Pick n Pay or via itickets: https://www.itickets.com/order/new/302936

*Note:
Restaurants and special feature areas operate on the Festival Crown, the event’s official currency. Festival goers use these Crowns to purchase their pick of sample dishes and drinks from exhibitors and bars. Each Taste of Cape Town Crown is worth R5 and prices range from 4 to 8 Crowns per dish.
