Mamma Mia

Here I go again...

BEST SHOW EVER, or at least the best show I've seen in a while.
And it ends on 26 September, so if you haven't yet gone to see it, book your tickets now for Mamma Mia at the Artscape.
The singing was amazing (loved the mom and her mischievous friends) and the dancing was incredible (hot young and vibrant).
The play will seriously have you tapping your feet and singing along to those well-known tunes (much to the demise of my dearest partner-in-crime who kept saying 'shhh baby').
Usually I get get pretty tired watching theatre, especially if it's midweek, on deadline, lasts more than two hours and I've has a glass of wine (case in point: CATS) – but this was not the case when I went last week to see the mamma of all mias.

Be warned – you may want to take your kids, but this performance has quite a few 'naughty' bits (sexual innuendos and very suggestive gestures) in it.

Tickets are from R180, but it's really worth paying R330 for the better seats. Show moves to montescasino in JHB from 1 October - 12 December. Book on www.computicket.com

You will truly feel like a dancing queen, going mad after midnight, and you shouldn’t care if your mother knows if you’re out - take a chance on me
